We are in the final stages of a year-long whole house renovation and addition with Michael Handrahan Remodeling as the general contractor. As we look back to the beginning of our project, three things clearly stand out: Communication – Communication with Mike and his team (both office staff and in-the-field construction professionals) was excellent throughout the project. Mike was available promptly by phone or in person for whatever we needed to discuss. He patiently answered our many questions and explained fully, and in understandable terms, the pros and cons of each issue. Mike kept us abreast of what was coming next, what decisions we needed to make, and by when. Quality Craftsmanship – The level of workmanship is excellent! No shortcuts were taken with respect to using quality materials, techniques, and craftsmanship. MHR’s carpenters are creative and extremely talented professionals who helped us turn our dreams into reality. Resources – Mike called on the very best from the various building trades (e.g., framing, plumbing, electrical, etc.) to complete our project. The sub-contractors know that the bar is high when working under MHR’s direction and were up to the challenge of delivering the very best. Mike also has well-developed relationships with the suppliers of building materials and finish products. We can truly say that we enjoyed the whole process.
